Youth in Action is
the Programme the European Union has set up for young people. It aims to inspire a sense of active European
citizenship, solidarity and tolerance among young Europeans and to involve them
in shaping the Union's future. It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU's
borders, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the
inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and
cultural background: Youth in Action is a Programme for all.
In
order to implement the youth exchange EcoBusiness we have also worked with
local partners.
First
of all, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University who offered T8 residence hall where the youngsters were accommodated
during their stay in Iasi. The meals were served at the Tudor Vladimirescu Cafeteria.
Another
important partener is the City Hall of Iasi who have supported us in organizing the EcoBusiness press conference
and also who offerd tourism brochures of Iasi for the participants.
We
also worked with Moldova Mall in organizing the
creative recycling workshop on December 12th . The aim of the workshop is to teach how to use waste materials to make
something which is useful or decorative.
An important role in our mission to engage the entrepreneurial spirit of the participants is held by our partners - Businessmen Association 2003 from Iasi.
